Kazakhstan Ministry of Energy Confirmed to Speak in CARES2019
We are excited announce that Ms. Ainur Sospanova, Director of Renewable Energy Department, Misnistry of Energy, Republic of Kazakhstan has confirmed to speak at Central Asia Renewable Energy Summit 2019, which will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, during Feb 27-28.
Ms. Sospanova now works as a director of the department of renewable energy sources in the Ministry of Energy. She studied at the Zelinograd state pedagogical university and received a Ph.D. in Eurasian National University (ENU). With over 20 years’ experiences in the field of informatics and communication technologies as well as renewable energy, Ms. Sospanova worked for 5 years in the UNDP Kazakhstan, leading a collective project of Global Environment Facility with the Kazakhstan government, which was an initiative to develop the wind energy market in the country.
Currently, Kazakhstan is developing its Renewable Energy at an unprecedented rate. Aiming to reach 50% renewable by 2050, Kazakhstan contracted 36 renewables projects in 2018 with totally 857.93MW, and launched 2 solar and wind projects.
